Soil Splash - Render

Soil splash on render surfaces is a common issue, especially on lower sections of walls exposed to garden beds, pathways, or lawns. This unsightly staining is often caused by water hitting soil and splashing it onto the render, where fine clay and soil particles cling to the textured surface. Removing these stains without damaging the render requires a gentle yet effective approach, as high pressure or certain chemicals can harm the finish.

In cases of tougher soil stains, especially if clay deposits are involved, a low-pressure wash combined with a targeted cleaning solution will be required. Always conduct a patch test to ensure compatibility with the render type and after cleaning, consider applying a clear, breathable protective sealer designed for render surfaces to help minimise future staining and make cleaning easier. As always, follow product instructions closely and always wear PPE.
