CleanOut Pro is a specialist, non-hazardous cleaning paste designed to provide a controlled and effective method for removing dirt and grime from a wide range of masonry and building surfaces. Unlike traditional liquid cleaners, CleanOut Pro works without the use of water, making it especially suitable for delicate areas or locations where moisture must be carefully managed. When applied, the paste forms a thick, even layer that penetrates surface dirt, dust, soot, and oily residues. As it dries, the paste hardens into a durable film, encapsulating the contaminants within it. Once fully dried, the film can be easily removed by lifting an edge and peeling it away, taking all the absorbed dirt and staining with it. This unique process ensures a safe and effective clean without the need for aggressive scrubbing, rinsing, or harsh chemicals, making it an ideal solution for both modern and historic structures. CleanOut Pro is particularly effective for areas affected by smoke damage, such as soot or tobacco residue, as well as for general maintenance cleaning where a rinse-free, low-toxicity solution is preferred. By working in a controlled and targeted manner, it allows for precise application while protecting surrounding surfaces and the environment.

Advantages and Limitations:

CleanOut Pro offers several significant advantages over conventional cleaning methods. Its controlled, rinse-free process makes it ideal for use in situations where water cannot be applied, such as in sensitive buildings, delicate stonework, or areas prone to moisture damage. The paste is low in odour, has a neutral pH, and contains no harsh or aggressive chemicals, ensuring safe handling for operators and minimal impact on the surrounding environment. It is especially effective at removing common contaminants such as dust, soot, oily deposits, and smoke residue, leaving the masonry clean and refreshed. The product’s ability to fully encapsulate dirt and staining within the dried film allows for simple and efficient removal, reducing cleanup time and preventing recontamination of nearby surfaces. This makes it an ideal choice for both small spot treatments and larger-scale cleaning projects, providing consistent, professional results with minimal effort. However, there are some important limitations to consider. CleanOut Pro is not suitable for use on polished stone or marble, as the product may affect the appearance of these surfaces. In cases of heavy or deeply embedded staining, more than one application may be required to achieve complete removal. As with all specialist cleaning products, pretesting is essential to confirm compatibility with the substrate and to ensure the desired results before undertaking full-scale work

Preparation:

Before beginning the cleaning process, carefully inspect the area and gather all necessary tools and equipment. Ensure that nearby surfaces such as painted areas, woodwork, or decorative features are protected with heavy-duty plastic sheeting or tarpaulins to prevent accidental contact. Work should be carried out in mild weather conditions, avoiding high winds or rain which may interfere with the application or drying process. Personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety goggles, and suitable clothing, should always be worn to ensure operator safety during application and removal.

Pretesting:

Before using CleanOut Pro on the entire surface, always perform a pretest on a small, inconspicuous area. This test will help confirm the product’s suitability for the masonry type and allow you to assess coverage, effectiveness, and desired results before full-scale treatment.

Application Process:

To apply CleanOut Pro, use a brush, roller, or spatula to create a thick, even coat approximately 0.66 mm thick when wet. Allow the applied product to dry undisturbed for 4 to 6 hours. Once dry, gently lift one edge of the film and peel it away from the surface. The dirt and contaminants will be removed along with the film, leaving the masonry clean and refreshed. If heavy staining remains after the first application, the process may be repeated as necessary. Clean all tools and equipment promptly with detergent and water after use to maintain their condition.

Cleanup and Storage:

After cleaning is complete, dispose of the used film responsibly in accordance with local waste disposal regulations. Store CleanOut Pro in its original, tightly sealed container in a cool, frost-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The product has a shelf life of up to one year when stored correctly.

Coverage and Packaging:

Coverage rates will vary depending on the porosity and texture of the masonry surface. On average, CleanOut Pro will cover approximately 1 to 5 square metres per litre. For highly porous or heavily soiled surfaces, additional product may be required to achieve full cleaning results. CleanOut Pro is supplied in durable 1 kg and 3 kg plastic tubs, making it suitable for both small spot treatments and larger cleaning projects.
