Module 3 Training Course
Training Created By Professionals For Professionals
Our in-house Module 3 Training Course is designed to provide participants with the confidence, knowledge, and practical ability to restore and maintain a wide range of high-level external surfaces. This advanced programme prepares individuals to handle complex restoration tasks with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
The course begins with comprehensive health and safety training, specifically tailored to the challenges associated with working at height and handling specialist cleaning materials. Participants will learn how to complete COSHH assessments, compile detailed Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) documents, and select and maintain the correct tools and equipment for each task. Training also covers the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling and storage of chemicals, electrical safety at work, and best practices for working at height. Asbestos awareness and management are also key components of this training, ensuring that participants know to work safely and responsibly in all environments.
Once the safety fundamentals have been established, the focus shifts to surface identification, cleaning, preparation, and coating. Participants will learn how to assess and restore a variety of high-level surfaces, including fascias, gutters, soffits, asbestos roofs and gutters, conservatories, orangeries, skylights, chimneys, and solar panels. This stage of the training provides valuable insight into the characteristics of different materials and how to select the most effective cleaning and restoration techniques for each one.
In addition to surface restoration, participants will develop advanced practical skills in specialist cleaning and coating applications. They will gain hands-on experience in coating flat roofs, asbestos surfaces, and roof tiles, as well as in repairing and sealing leaking gutter systems. These practical exercises are designed to ensure that all participants leave the course with the ability to deliver high-quality, long-lasting results across a variety of challenging projects.
Upon successful completion of Module 3, candidates will have the professional confidence and technical knowledge required to carry out advanced external surface restoration work safely and effectively. Participants who complete the full training pathway will also receive a range of industry-recognised certifications, including NEBOSH Endorsed, City & Guilds Assured, and CPD Certified credentials. These credentials significantly enhance participants’ professional profiles and demonstrate their commitment to quality, safety, and excellence within the external cleaning and restoration industry.
