Water Based Tarmac Sealer 20L

Tarmac Sealer WB is a water based high performance coloured sealer which has been specially developed for tarmac surfaces. Tarmac Sealer WB restores the look of worn, tired tarmac to a new condition. The low sheen finish is tough and durable with excellent resistance to adverse weather conditions as well as providing protection against water, oil and stains.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Always test a small inconspicuous area before use to ensure surface compatibility, performance and finish/texture is acceptable, especially on worn tarmac with aggregate that has become smooth.

Remove all dirt, loose material, moss and algae from the surface using an appropriate fungicidal wash. Oil and grease deposits should be removed with a good quality degreaser before application.

Make sure surface to be treated is clean, dry, stable and free from any loose chippings.

APPLICATION

Product is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted. Shake container before use.

Apply product with a soft brush or long pile roller, spreading over the surface at a rate of 4-6m²/ltr, depending on surface porosity and condition. Allow to dry for 2-4 hours and apply a second coat.

Remove as much excess product as possible and clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water.

IMPORTANT

At between 25°C and 30°C surface will dry in 2-3 hours. At 12°C it will dry in 4-6 hours. Times are at recommended coverage. Restrict vehicle access for 24 hours.

Do not apply in wet weather or when rain appears likely for at least 24 hours after completion. DO NOT apply on newly laid tarmac within 90 days or concrete within 30 days. Keep children and pets away until surface is fully dry. Do not apply when ambient/surface temperature is below +10°C or above +25°C.
